Innovation and Leadership in Education: A Look into the Development of Modern Managerial Skills

In today's society, education faces challenges that demand a change in leadership strategies. This article seeks the intersection between innovation and educational leadership, focusing especially on the importance of developing modern managerial skills. Through a literature review and analysis of practical cases, key managerial skills are identified, such as effective communication, change management and critical thinking, demonstrating their relevance in fostering innovative educational environments. It is concluded that, to face current and future challenges in education, education leaders must actively adopt and promote these skills, thus becoming facilitators of change and innovation.
