Budget execution in local governments of the Apurímac Rio Valley and the modernization of the state

Abstract

The objective of the research is to examine the budget execution of local governments in the Apurimac River Valley and its relationship with the modernization of public management. A quantitative, correlational, non-experimental methodology was used. The population was made up of local government officials from the left and right banks of the Apurimac River, and the sample was made up of 10 officials from the Planning and Budget Offices. The results were processed using SPSS v27 Statistics and it was evident that there is a significant relationship between the budget execution of the local governments of the Apurímac River valley and the modernization of the State. To confirm the hypothesis, correlation analysis was applied through Spearman's Rho to the values ​​of the indicators of the variables and their corresponding dimensions, resulting in the reliability of the instrument of 0.957, the correlation level of 0.988 being very high, so the null hypothesis is rejected and the general hypothesis is accepted. It is concluded that modernization favors the use of information and communication technologies, which facilitates the implementation of public policies and improves the quality of life of citizens by offering efficient and updated services.
