Asentamientos informales en entornos urbanos: un análisis sistemático entre el 2019 y 2023

Resumen

La pandemia global de COVID-19 ha tenido un impacto significativo en las condiciones de vida y en el derecho a la ciudad, intensificando las desigualdades ya existentes. Este estudio de revisión de artículos busca entender cómo estos eventos han influido en la investigación sobre la formación y evolución de los asentamientos informales, así como en las respuestas de las autoridades y las comunidades afectadas. Para esto, se incluyeron 38 trabajos científicos ubicados en bases de datos como Scopus, EBSCO y ProQuest. Además las palabras clave para esta búsqueda fueron: asentamientos informales, entornos urbanos, condición de vida, infraestructura y servicios. Como resultado, se destaca la complejidad y la interconexión de los desafíos urbanos contemporáneos, así como la relevancia y la visibilidad de la investigación urbana y desarrollo social en la comunidad académica internacional. En conclusión, estos hallazgos subrayan la importancia de adoptar enfoques integrados y colaborativos para abordar los problemas urbanos. Asimismo, destacan la necesidad de garantizar la accesibilidad y difusión de la investigación, con el objetivo de informar políticas y prácticas que fomenten un desarrollo urbano sostenible y equitativo a nivel global.
