Análisis de la estructura interna y fiabilidad de una versión corta de la escala de rumiación relacionada a un evento en jóvenes de Perú

La salud mental de los jóvenes universitarios es de suma importancia en la sociedad actual, dado que diversos eventos pueden desencadenar rumiación, afectando su bienestar emocional y su rendimiento académico. Este estudio se enfoca en analizar la Escala Abreviada de Rumiación relacionada con Eventos (ERRI). Para esto, se evaluaron la validez basada en el contenido, la validez basada en la estructura interna mediante un análisis factorial confirmatorio y la fiabilidad mediante el coeficiente de omega. Los resultados revelan propiedades psicométricas sólidas del ERRI abreviado, con índices de ajuste satisfactorios: CFI=.98, TLI=.98, SRMR=.03. Además, presenta una adecuada fiabilidad tanto para la dimensión de rumiación intrusiva (ꞷ=.93) como para la rumiación deliberada (ꞷ=.87). Finalmente, el estudio destaca la utilidad del ERRI abreviado como herramienta para comprender y abordar la rumiación relacionada con eventos, siendo un instrumento que proporciona una medida precisa y confiable para los jóvenes universitarios peruanos.
